Sobre este modelo

One simple modular design. Endless possibilities. Transform an ordinary wall into a unique geometric feature wall with these 3D-printable hexagonal panels! I originally designed this system to create a custom background for my studio. By combining and repeating just a few geometric pieces, I was able to create an entire wall filled with beautiful faceted patterns. The design is completely modular. You can create a small decorative arrangement or expand it to cover an entire wall. Each panel features angled surfaces that interact with light, creating different shadows, depth, and visual effects throughout the day. How Does It Work? The design is built around just two main panel types:

- Center Panel: The central hexagonal piece.

- Surrounding Panel: The repeating piece arranged around the center to create the geometric pattern.

Simply duplicate, rotate, and arrange these pieces to create your desired composition. For larger installations, additional edge pieces can be used to fill the remaining spaces and create clean, straight borders around your design. Whether you want a small wall decoration, a backdrop for your workspace, or a full feature wall, the system can be expanded to fit your space. Included 3MF Files 1. Main Panels.3mf Contains the two main panel types used to build and expand the geometric pattern. 2. Edge Panels.3mf Contains the additional pieces needed to fill gaps along the outer edges and create a clean, straight finish. Bonus – 7 mm Spacing Tool I've also included a simple spacing tool for anyone who prefers a small, consistent 7 mm gap between the panels during installation. You can install the panels directly next to each other for a seamless look, as I did, or leave a 7 mm gap for a more separated geometric appearance. Dimensions Single full-size hexagonal panel:

- Width: 180 mm

- Height: 155 mm

- Maximum depth: 29 mm

All models can be scaled to suit your space and 3D printer. Printing Recommendations

- Material: PLA Matte (used for my studio wall)

- Infill: 5–8%

- Wall loops: 3

- Supports: Depending on print orientation and individual geometry

I printed my panels vertically to achieve clean visible surfaces and edges. Installation Plan your layout before installation and arrange the panels in your preferred pattern. For my studio, I mounted the panels onto MDF boards using mounting adhesive, creating a continuous geometric wall. Make sure your mounting surface, adhesive, and fixing method are suitable for the total weight of your installation. Make It Your Own! Experiment with different layouts, colors, scales, and lighting setups. The faceted surfaces create a unique appearance depending on how the light hits them.

Start with a few panels. Expand as much as you like. Create your own geometric wall! Note: These are decorative panels, not certified acoustic or soundproofing products. Keep them away from high heat and use appropriate mounting hardware for large installations.
