Elecraft KH1 Cup Mag Safe Mount

This is a progressive modification of my KX2 cup mount for the KH1. Great for mobile CW ops or POTA activation.

Once the glue is dry attached the mount together.

Stick the tape ring to the back case of the KH1. Center the ring over the two mounting holes on the back.

Drop the magnet into the recessed into the KH1 mounting plate. Add a smear of super glue to ring before you drop it into the plate. The mag safe system holds the KH1 firmly. You might need to add grip tape to the side of cup if it twists easy in your vehicle cup holder.
