EDC Bedside tray

The need is simple and must be functional. A bedside tray to empty my pockets and store my watch, phone, and misc items at the end of the night. Must not make excessive sound when used.

Design Specifications: - Phone: Room for a modern phone where the cord can still be used to charge.

- Watch tower: keep my watch crystal from being scratch when keys or similar items are put in or out (will also fit use for a bracelet).

- Pocket catch: Enough room for a wallet, pocket or coin knives, and maybe a pen.

- Jewelry Catch: A known place to store a spare ring.

- Tray: Soft flat bed as to dampen sound of items placed in or out.

What's Included: - A right or left sided model depending on which side of the bed you sleep on.

- A cutout template so that self adhesive cork board or felt can be easily cut to fit for the tray (could also use a lazer cutter to make a nice wood bed). - Cutout template can also be used as accent as well.

Final thoughts: I printed mine with a nice fossil colored stripe to break up the black which is not all that visible in the pictures but adds a nice touch. This can be done with height based painting with any slicer. You can scale it to how you want but with the base dimensions, it will fit a Samsung Galaxy S25 with Tough Armor case and plugged in to power without issue. The watch or bracelet tower has the watch for my size sitting up high and that is intentional but if your wrist is small, you may want to play with the scale size. Thin cork board from a hobby shop (Hobby Lobby) really cuts down the sound when using it and it makes the Wife (or GF) happy to hear you need to visit Hobby Lobby.
