Dyson Hair Dryer Holster

There are literally dozens of these Dyson holders out there, so why use this one? Well, this design is particularly optimized for strength when using an FDM printer. By printing it as two halves, the primary loads are coplanar with the printed layers, giving this model much higher strength. Sure, you can achieve this with one piece, but you end up needing a ton of support material, and the finish is different on the left and right sides. This almost completely avoids overhangs (except for two small screw holes which are not normally visible anyway).

For assembly, simply print the two halves and glue them together (you can potentially skip the glue but it'll make it harder to mount). The two mounting holes allow for a wide range of screws. Remember to use drywall anchors!
