Double-Bitted Key Replacement Handle
A 3D-printable replacement handle for double-bitted (lever lock) keys with a broken or missing plastic head.
The handle is designed for a press-fit connection with the original metal key head. For additional strength and reliability, applying a suitable adhesive after installation is recommended.
Installation
Remove any remaining plastic from the original key head and clean the metal surface.
Carefully press the metal key head into the printed handle until fully seated.
For improved durability, apply a suitable adhesive to the joint and allow it to cure.
Compatibility
Designed for the metal key-head shape shown in the photos. Check the dimensions of your key before printing, as different key models may vary in size and shape.
Printing Recommendations
Dimensional accuracy is important for a proper press-fit. Fit may vary depending on the filament material and printer calibration.
Do not use excessive force during assembly — an overly tight fit may cause the printed handle to crack.
