Sobre este modelo

I needed a hole plug for a wooden chair, and I wanted a domed top, to cover the hole and the discoloration from the original plug. Couldn't find what I wanted on line so I wrote it in OpenSCAD. with user-input parameters. I printed the attached STL in Wood PLA and stained it. If you need a different shaft diameter or length, and/or a different cap diameter and height, input those values into the Parameters tab in OpenSCAD, Render, and Export an STL. I don't know whether this will work in the online Customizer, so if you try it please post a comment with your results. There is an obvious issue in printing this plug if the cap is wider than the shaft (which is generally true), especially using Wood PLA: You'll need supports to print with the cap facing up, and those supports can be difficult to remove. Or, you can print it with the cap at the bottom, and you'll need a brim or it won't stay on the print bed. Have fun, and feel free to post your feedback!
