Sobre este modelo
I needed a better desiccant container solution for my cereal box spool containers. Most models take too long to print and do not have enough holes.
My design is 45% nothing. Meaning holes. Meaning air can flow freely. It uses 14g of filament and prints in about 1h-1.5h, depending on printer and filament.
The container should fit most spools. 54mm in diameter and 76mm long. Print settings I provided OrcaSlicer and PrusaSlicer .3mf files. The way they each handle modifiers is sadly not interchangeable. The modifier (box on cylinder sheet) sets walls to 1 for faster printing. 0.4mm nozzle 0.2mm layer height I used PLA and PETG so far.
In PETG the first layer was tricky. Had to up the bed temp to 85°, nozzle to 235° and slow down to 30 mm/s for the first layer. Depends also on your print plate. I used a structured carbon plate (see last 2 photos).
Assembling it is easy and takes about 30 seconds. Okay, maybe not the first time. ;) If you like the model, add a build. Feedback welcome!
