Sobre este modelo
The DAT-X hobby knife is one of my favorite design tools for its ease to carry around. As a result I own many of them for my various bags and desks. I decided to create this mount as I was also in the process of mounting my safety cutting ruler under my desk. The goal of both projects was to keep them within easy reach and out of sight. They also need to be easy to place back in their proper homes by touch alone.
This features a form fitting cutout for the knife with an oval cutout all the way through so you can easily remove it.
Why Multiboard/Multiconnect and not OpenGrid? Simple. I started this project back when Underware 2.0 just released, finished 70% of my desk then abandoned the project until recently. I am already too deep into the multiboard ecosystem with too many screws already drilled into my desk.
