Sobre este modelo
Working padlock with destinct keys and endless chain. Fully printable, no hardware needed Make it move? I’d rather not 😁 Printing: Print all parts in the given orientation with all settings as you see fit. No support needed. Using a 0.4 nozzle is recommended but all padlock parts can be printed with a 0.6 too. Fast print settings with 0.2 layers work fine. Assembly: 1) Put Latch (red), Spring (blue), Gate (yellow) and Drum (Case color) into place like shown in the picture. Depending on the type of gate you are inserting, only the associated key is going to work. Note: Make sure that the flat side of the Drum is oriented towards the spring and the chamfer points upward
2) Close the Case with Lid part. Cut two pieces of filament with roughly 35mm lenghts. Cut a smal chamfer on one side, like you are doing with filament you load into your printer. Push both pieces into the holes on the Case part. This permanently seals the lock. 3) Chain assembly consists of two parts. Part_A is shown on right, Part_B on the left side. 4) Take Part_A and slide Part_B over it. Only slide one side first, so that the other side is still "in the air" and not propperly seated. 5) Now slide the other side in place. The link is a little compliant, so it is going to snap in place. If needed, press in place fully. 6) Repeat step 4) and 5) with Part_A linked towards the pieces you already assembled. Repeat until you reach the desired lenght. Note: The Ring part is Optional. Only needed if you want to "branch" your chain. 7) Done! Have fun with your cursed lock ^^
Going to upload a non cursed, normal padlock in the future. It is going to feature more sets of keys and is going to fit for PeliCase (and generic similar cases). Addidtional sizes of chain with similar locking mechanism are in the pipeline too. If you are interested in something like that, stay tuned :)
