Sobre este modelo
A small storage box with a crumpled-paper surface and a removable magnetic lid. The printed box is shown closed and open in the photos.
Dimensions and files
Closed size approximately 86 × 85 × 63 mm. The rounded cavity is 73 × 73 × 48 mm, with 22 mm corner radii. Print body.stl and lid.stl once each. Both files are already oriented for printing.
Materials and settings
Use eight Ø5 × 3 mm neodymium disc magnets, four in each half. Print with a 0.4 mm nozzle, 0.20 mm layers, three walls and 15% infill. Supports off. White or cream PLA gives the surface its paper appearance. Each part needs one pause to insert its magnets, which are then sealed inside the print.
Set the magnet polarity
Stack all eight magnets into one column and keep track of the face pointing upward on each disc. Keep that same face upward when inserting every magnet into either printed half. The four lower discs go into the body and the four upper discs into the lid. Check polarity before resuming the print.
Print the body
Place the flat base on the bed, opening upward. Add a pause at Z = 49.40 mm, layer 247 with 0.20 mm layers. Insert four magnets in the open corner pockets, keeping their upper faces as described above. Resume printing; the next three layers seal the pockets with 0.6 mm of plastic.
Print the lid
Place the flat seam face on the bed with the textured top upward. Add a pause at Z = 3.80 mm, layer 19 with 0.20 mm layers. Insert the other four magnets with the same upward polarity. Resume to seal them inside.
Close the box
The body lip registers inside the lid groove with 0.30 mm clearance per side. No glue is required. The lid fits in four rotations; only one aligns the exterior creases across the seam. Rotate it until the creases line up.
