Sobre este modelo

Why this Thing. I have a print farm with 8 x Creality Ender 3 S1 Pros complete with Sonic pads. I needed a way to protect the large format screens from tool inflicted damage as i move about the area I'm always carrying sharp tooling around. I have lost most of the files for this thing - there was a faulty drive and I've not had a chance to attempt a recovery. I have located a backup of the Freecad model - but all the build pics are lost. There are the build videos on my YouTube channel further down. The cover is in two parts as i wanted to ensure successful prints over the long times that these parts require. The parts are the Sonic-Pad-Lid-Base and the Sonic-Pad-Lid-Shield. These need to be superglued as square as can be managed. Test fit on your pad first to check that all looks good. Apply a drop of glue from the inside joint at the ends to locate. Then apply as much glue as you think you need to get a good bond along the entire joint. I don't use activator so i have no comments on its usage. I have included the Freecad model - it contains three bodies, one of them is a fully dimensioned Sonic Pad model. This Thing has already been fully printed, as a working prototype, and the complete build vids are available on my YouTube, Please note there were many iterations of this Thing, the vids cover all of them. Creality Sonic Pad Screen Cover - Part 60 shows the printed model (unglued) been placed on a Sonic Pad. channel - link below :- https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCeUe5-RJVhf1bc0xgZjRRQA Link to the actual playlist:- https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLGbJBYZQZE5sVpymAA1Ko_93iPUoBP4_L The vids are well down the listing you can scroll to find them. I printed all the parts in Geeetech PETG. Cura settings:- 225 Degree C Nozzle temp. 80 Degree C Bed temp. As always hope you enjoy and please comment - no rough stuff.
