The "Better Than What Came With It" Couch Cup Holder 🎯

The OEM cup holder in my reclining couch gave up the ghost. Rather than hunt down a replacement part that probably doesn't exist anymore, I did what any reasonable person with a 3D printer would do — I designed a better one.

🟩 𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗠𝗔𝗞𝗘𝗦 𝗜𝗧 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗞

▸ 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗙𝗶𝘁, 𝗡𝗼 𝗔𝗱𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗡𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗱 — Tolerances are tight enough that it presses firmly into the existing cutout and stays put. Want to pull it out for deep cleaning? It comes right out. No commitment required.

▸ 𝗟𝗼𝘄-𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗲 𝗧𝗲𝘅𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗟𝗶𝗽 — Covers the rough edges of the cutout and sits flush with the upholstery. Looks like it was always supposed to be there.

▸ 𝗗𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝗘𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝘁𝗼 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸 — Sized to stabilize tall tumblers and bottles, not just a coaster with walls. Your drink isn't going anywhere.

▸ 𝗣𝗘𝗧𝗚 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗱 — PLA works and looks great, but PETG holds up better to heat and daily abuse in a furniture application. Your call.
