WHAT MOVES

- Altitude: the cradle collar turns on two knurled trunnion knobs in the fork (free range -30 to +55 degrees). Press depth of the knobs sets the friction.

- Azimuth: the fork turns 360 degrees on a pivot pin in the tripod head, with a 5-degree scale engraved on the fork base.

- Friction focuser: the focus knobs turn a roller that drives the drawtube in and out. The eyepiece slides into the drawtube.

- Finder scope slides into a dovetail on the cradle collar.

- Tripod legs fold on hinge pins and lock at 20 degrees against a stop. The accessory tray rests on leg cleats and keeps the legs spread.

- Removable dew shield (stops on the objective cell) and lens cap.

PRINTING

No supports needed. PLA, 0.4 mm nozzle, 0.16-0.2 mm layers, 3 walls, 15 % infill. Sliding clearances are 0.25-0.6 mm; tube fits use small crush ribs. Objective and finder lenses look best in clear PETG/PLA. Suggested colours: navy, gold/brass, silver, black, walnut brown.
