Sobre este modelo

A cilice is an archaic device used in Christian tradition to show repentance by mortification of the flesh. Nowadays, it's mostly used by pain seekers for some tasty endorphins. See more about it's history here.

Required Parts: - 1mm craft wire

- (2) M3x16mm bolts and nuts

- (2) 5mm rods about 8mm long

- (1) 8mm rod about 12mm long

To assemble: - Insert the M3 nuts into the sides of the small piece.

- Insert the small piece into the top of the handle.

- Match the slot in the small piece to the knob, and screw it together.

- The rods should push fit, but depending on tolerances, may need some glue to keep them in place.

To use: - Insert a 1 mm wire into the channel on the bottom of the handle and cut it off at the end.

- Fit the wire into the hole in the top, and lay it down between the pins on the center piece.

- Hold the wire down with your thumb and rotate the handle counterclockwise until the loopy spike is formed. Slightly overbend the wire so there is an overlap between the two wires.

- Remove the wire and repeat the un-spiked end, making sure the first spike is facing to the left.

- Place the wire in the notch at the other end of the handle and bend it around until the wire forms a half-circle.

- Assemble the cilice chain as desired.
