Christmas Coaster Set - 6 Motifs + Tree Holder, Multicolor Inlay, No Supports

Six Christmas coasters, each with a clean white winter motif inside a ring: a snowflake, a tree, a star, a bauble, a bell and a gift. A tree-shaped holder keeps all six on a table or shelf, standing on edge like a little advent display. Print them the way your printer likes: a flush multicolour inlay, or a raised motif with one filament change.

Two ways to print every coaster.

- Inlay (multicolour): the coaster has a 0.6 mm pocket in its top and the white motif is a separate piece that fills the pocket exactly (checked on the files: 0 mm³ overlap, and base + motif add up to a plain disc). The top is perfectly flat, so a mug slides across it. Load -inlay_base-colour and -inlay_motif-white as ONE object; they share the same coordinates.

- Raised (one filament change): -raised-single has the motif standing 0.6 mm proud. Change filament at layer height 4.0 mm and you get a coloured coaster with a white motif. Print it in one colour if you have no way to change filament.

Sizes (measured on the STL files). Coaster Ø 95 mm, 4.0 mm thick (inlay) or 4.6 mm with the raised motif, with 0.6 mm chamfers top and bottom so there is no elephant-foot ridge. Holder 49.2 × 58.9 × 49.9 mm.

The holder. Six slots, 4.8 mm wide with 2.4 mm between them, cut as curved cradles. A coaster is 4.0 mm thick, so it sits in its slot with 0.4 mm to spare on each side (a 0.3 mm sideways shift still does not touch, 0.6 mm does). The raised motif sits above the cradle, so only the smooth rim goes into the slot and the raised coasters fit the same way. The end walls are two tree silhouettes whose branches rise at 45°, so the holder prints upright with no supports.

Fits a small bed, no supports. Every file fits a 170 × 170 mm bed. On a 250 mm bed, 4 coasters fit on one plate (2 × 2). All coasters print flat, face up. qc reports 0 mm² of overhang beyond 45° on every coaster and on the holder.

Colours in the pictures. Red, pine green and blue bases with a white motif and a gold holder. The files carry no colour, so use any filament you like. White 0.6 mm over a dark colour can look slightly thin: use an opaque white, or raise ins to 0.8-1.0 mm in the .scad (the raised version then gets taller).

PRINT SETTINGS: PLA or PETG, 0.20 mm layers, 3 walls, 20 % infill, no supports. Coasters flat, motif up. Inlay version with a multicolour system: base colour + white motif as one object. Raised version: change filament at 4.0 mm. Holder upright, as in the file.

Honest notes:

- The images are 3D renders made from the same files you print. This set has not been test-printed yet. Checked numerically on the exported STLs: every coaster and the holder is one closed solid (the inlay motifs are separate pieces by design), the inlays fill their pockets flush, and the coasters fit the slots.

- One coaster alone in an empty holder leans (the cradle is only 3.5 mm deep). Put all six in, or at least both outer ones, and the set stands by itself.

- These are decorative coasters for cups and mugs. Do not put hot pans on them: PLA softens at about 60 °C.

- Add 3 small rubber feet or felt pads underneath if your table scratches easily.

- The design is original: no licensed characters, no brands.
