Sobre este modelo
Introduction This is not a fancy glow charger, just a simple light that you can clip on each basket on your course, and see easily where it is in the dark. Just thread LED contacts through the holes on the box, slot in a button battery, and clip the beacon to the basket's top wire frame. It is surprisingly bright at night time. The model is inspired by the simple battery boxes for CR2032 batteries, with an added clip that works on different diameters of wire. Printing Best printed in PETG for just the right amount of flexibility. Prints without supports, slot up. The default 0.4-mm nozzle and 0.2-mm layers are completely all right. Assembly - Bend both "legs" of the LED slightly inside, so that they can pass from the outside into the box. You need a sufficient length of wire inside to create contact with the battery. Note that the box has + and − signs on its sides. While not binding, it's good practice to adhere by that. It helps you remember next time you go play.
- It is optional yet advisable to use a flat tool, such as a flat-tipped screw driver, to organise the wire contacts inside the box and smooth them out to prevent short-circuiting.
- Slot a CR2032 battery in the box. Be sure to maintain polarity. The LED will light up immediately. A single battery lasts for days.
- Remove the battery when you finished playing, and store it separately.
You can play around with colours, or use blinking LEDs like I do to catch the eye even more efficiently.
