Sobre este modelo
A keepsake urn in the spirit of Irish and Scottish metalwork - the kind of piece you put on a shelf and people pick up to look at. The body is a classic baluster urn wrapped in four bands of raised Celtic ornament: woven knotwork at the shoulder and foot, a ring of triskele spirals in roundels around the belly and a fine cable twist on the neck, all separated by half-round beads.
Three parts:
- Urn body (126 x 170 mm): closed bottom, 1.6 mm wall plus up to 1.8 mm raised relief, holds about 1 litre
- Pedestal foot (114 x 40 mm): moulded foot with a twist-lock socket - print it in a contrasting colour
- Ribbed dome lid (84 x 78 mm): 12 melon ribs, a cable-twist skirt and a turned finial blended into the dome in one smooth piece - no visible joint. The lid sits in a V-groove on the rim, so it stays centred
Twist-lock bayonet: 3 lugs under the urn drop into the foot and lock with a 22 degree twist, so you can lift the whole urn by the body.
Use it as a jewellery jar, a keepsake or memorial urn, a tea caddy, a cookie jar or a vase for dried flowers. Everything prints without supports - the relief is limited to 45 degrees and the edges are smoothed, so there is no stair-stepping.
