Sobre este modelo
Make your own version free in your browser, any size or design: meshcast.app/texture-roller 100k+ makers follow us on Instagram for new free designs and casting tips: @meshcast.app Two bands of Celtic plaitwork per repeat, three strands over and under, between raised borders. For pottery, polymer clay and fondant. About this design Two bands of Celtic knotwork on every repeat, each a three-strand plait in which every strand goes over, then under, the others in turn, with a gap either side wherever one strand passes over another, framed by raised border lines. Roll it into clay for mug and tankard bands, planters, bowls and tiles, into polymer clay for jewellery, bracelets and ornaments, or into fondant through cling film for cake bands. Made with our free texture roller tool, not modelled by hand: we drew the pattern in code as a seamless picture, uploaded it, and set a roller 30 mm across and 80 mm long with an 8 mm bore, the pattern raised 1.5 mm and repeated twice round and twice along. The zip holds the roller and the tool's own fork handle with its two retaining pins, as two STL files, plus the pattern picture, so you can remake the roller at another size or depth. Every roller in this set is the same size and fits the same 131 mm handle, so you print the handle once and after that only rollers: pull the two pins, swap the roller, push the pins back in. Shown as a 3D render of the printed roller in its handle on the clay it has pressed, not a photo. How this was made The model is parametric: it is generated by Meshcast's own code, not made by an AI. The pictures are rendered in Blender. We use AI to assist our work (ideas, writing and checking), so this design carries Thingiverse's AI label to be on the safe side. Selling what you make? Free for personal use under CC BY-NC.
