Pokémon PokéLid · Color-By-Numbers Plates

Across Japan, real illustrated manhole covers — “PokéLids” — celebrate a Pokémon tied to each town. This is a growing collection of those designs as Color-By-Numbers plates: each one prints as a clean line-art plate that you then paint in by number. Matching paint kits and ready-made painted plates are available too — see the links at the bottom.

A Color-By-Numbers display plate of Dedenne & Lopunny, adapted from the real "PokéLid" Pokémon manhole cover installed in Okinoshima, Shimane — one of the illustrated covers found in cities across Japan, each tied to a Pokémon meaningful to that place.

This design uses 9 colors: Tan, Cream, Dark Green, Green, Burgundy, Gold, Brown, Red, White. How to print & paint it - The file includes two build plates: the full-size plate plus a mini display plate (100 x 100 mm). - Prints as a clean two-tone line-art plate — black outlines on a white or transparent base. - Every region is numbered — paint it in with the color-by-numbers guide. I recommend AP-certified (ACMI) acrylic markers or paint: classroom-safe, and a relaxing project to share with kids. License & use
