Sobre este modelo
A caffeine molecule for your desk. And yes, we've finally printed it ourselves.
It ran on a Bambu Lab, and the photos on the wooden desk are exactly what came off the plate: white, one piece, pencil pillars still on, no paint. The darker shots with red pencils are just an idea in case you fancy painting yours. Everything else is a render.
Every sphere has its element letter engraved, double bonds are shown, and the molecule rises on slim pencils from a round base with the name and CAS number on the rim. About 100 × 100 × 84 mm.
What's here: a 3MF that builds the supports when you slice it, and the STL without supports. PLA, 0.4 mm nozzle, a plate of at least 125 × 125 mm and 90 mm of height. Slicers guess 8 to 12 hours.
Cut the tree supports away and keep the pencils. If you'd rather have the bare molecule, snip each pencil at its thin neck (about 2 mm) just under the sphere and sand the little cone. The bonds are about 2 mm too, so take it slow.
Ready G-code for Prusa MK4, Prusa MINI and Ender-3 S1, plus a PDF data sheet, are on the caffeine page: https://molgod.org/molecule/58-08-2/
