Bluebeard — Bust Inspired by Charles Perrault’s Fairy Tale

Bluebeard — Bust Inspired by Charles Perrault’s Fairy Tale Inspired by Charles Perrault’s Bluebeard, this bust offers a dark interpretation of the character. His stern face, heavy eyebrows and cold expression evoke the menace concealed beneath his outward wealth. An imposing beard flows down his chest in thick, deeply sculpted locks. A pronounced moustache, wavy hair and pupil-less eyes reinforce his presence. The period costume, patterned collar and heavily folded mantle recall the opulence described in the tale. The bust rests on a rectangular pedestal featuring a key in relief, symbolising the forbidden chamber. A piece to complement a collection of dark fairy-tale characters or a Halloween display. This creation is a freely imagined artistic interpretation, without any intended resemblance to an actor. The facial features and costume are sculptural choices; the monochrome finish leaves the colour of his famous beard to your optional painting. The base of this model was generated using Hi3D, then refined using Blender and/or Meshmixer to create the final bust.
