Sobre este modelo

I really like the ecosystem around the original CAMLOCK adapter by @PeterH, but I found it hard to remix for certain features using basic tools. Larger hoses also required extensions, which made the adapter quite long. So I decided to create my own compatible version from scratch. Compared to the original, this model: - Accepts larger hoses (up to 54mm OD) without extensions;

- Has an adjustable suction control (air bleed) for use with sanders, preventing strong suction against the workpiece;

- Adapter inserts can rotate freely without catching;

- Is bounding-box centered, making it easy to remix with simple tools;

- Magnets can be added after printing, if needed.

The downside is that my version is a bit bulkier. If you prefer something more compact and closer to the original, also have a look at this model with STEP file by @Xoliul_2895848. Instructions STL files are included for hoses with an outer diameter (OD) of 40–54mm, plus a blank version if you need a custom size. I've only tested the 42mm version, so please let me know if any of the other sizes don't fit properly. The model was printed and tested in PLA at 0.2mm layer height with a 0.6mm nozzle. No supports are needed. There are a few 20mm bridges, but most printers should handle these without issues. The small holes are pilot holes, meant to be drilled out with a 2mm drill. A bicycle spoke, a smooth nail, or anything else around 2mm in diameter can be used as the hinge pin for the lever. I inserted the spoke using an electric drill, as it was too tight to just hammer it in. If the lever feels loose, you can insert two 10x1.5mm or 10x2mm magnets. I didn't need them myself, because the bicycle spoke gives enough friction to keep the lever locked. the suction control slider is a tight fit, since it relies on friction to stay in place. Sand it down carefully if it's too tight.
