Autumn Maple Leaf Bookmark

A realistic autumn leaf that peeks out of your book. The part between the pages is flat, and the part sticking out has real relief: veins, curl and a toothed edge. Includes 4 bookmark versions, a pendant with a hole, and a ready 4-color AMS project for Bambu Lab A1.

Note: the photos show the model printed in white PLA and hand-colored with acrylic markers. The 3MF project lets you print it in 4 colors with AMS, but the printed result will look different from the photos.

Bring a bit of autumn into your books 🍁

This is a stylized but realistic autumn leaf, made for printing as a bookmark or a small decoration. Only part of the leaf slides between the pages. That part is completely flat and 1 mm thick, so it won’t damage the book. The part that sticks out is fully detailed:

tapered veins, thicker at the base and thinner towards the edges, like a real leaf

veins sunk into the top side and raised on the back

a gently curled, slightly wavy leaf blade

a small toothed edge with a tiny “bite”

a thick, sturdy stem with an angled cut

What’s included

Bookmark – Tip out: 50% flat, the top lobe sticks out of the book.

Bookmark – Diagonal: 40% flat, placed at an angle.

Bookmark – Side lobe: 70% flat, one lobe peeks out of the side of the book.

Bookmark – Stem out: 75% flat, only the stem and the base of the leaf stick out.

Pendant: a fully detailed leaf with a 4 mm hole and a reinforced rim, for a keyring, bag or zipper.

Files

3MF project for Bambu Studio (Bambu Lab A1 + AMS lite), with all 5 versions on separate plates. It is already painted in 4 colors with autumn blotches, so you can open it and print. Flat parts are single-color, so they stay clean inside the book.
