Design story and technique

This piece is a generative, parametric modular relief arranged on a hex grid. The saved generative design places each module precisely; every module in the kit carries an ID plus position, orientation, layer and material in the assembly data so the physical wall corresponds directly to the saved project. Paper templates are not provided — this is a 3D-print kit built from individually printed modules.

Technical characteristics

- Finished composition: 518.067 × 528.111 mm (width × height). Maximum depth: 58.539 mm.

- Parts: 238 individually placed modules (238 unique parts).

- Print plates: 19 colour-pure 3MF print plates supplied in print pose.

- Colours: 6 filament colours defined in the package.

- Target build plate sized for: 256 × 256 mm printers.

- Material recommendation: PLA.

- Infill and perimeters used for the kit estimate: 15% infill, 2 perimeters (estimate basis included in package). Exact DFM check passed for every module.

Assembly overview

The download includes a visual assembly map, a 1:1 wall template (A4 and Letter), an assembled reference STL and machine-readable assembly data so you can place printed modules to recreate the saved generative layout. A README and START_HERE.pdf guide the assembly flow.
