ATP Blackveil AAP01 Folding Stock & Picatinny Adap

The ATP Blackveil AAP01 Folding Stock is a functional and clean upgrade that turns your AAP01 pistol into a handy carbine/SMG/PDW platform. It is made to match and expand the Blackveil Handguard Series ecosystem.

This project is the result of weeks of meticulous design work in Fusion 360 and extensive printing tests. Every part has been carefully refined to deliver a clean look, reliable fitment, fluid functionality, and enough structural strength for regular airsoft use.

Mechanical Features

- Triple Configuration Options: Build your setup exactly how you want it: - Adjustable Carbine: Run the full multi-position extendable stock with its smooth pull-to-extend and lever-release mechanism.

- Picatinny Adapter: Want to use a different aftermarket stock? The buffer body features an integrated Picatinny rail section at the back, allowing you to easily mount any 1913/RIS-compatible folding stock on the market.

- Minimalist PDW: For the absolute lightest and most compact setup, skip the full stock and mount the included minimalist fixed buttpad using a single screw directly into the buffer tube.

- Folding Hinge Auto-Lock: Features a spring-loaded hinge latch that clicks into place automatically when unfolding (folding requires pressing the latch).

- Anti-Delamination (Rear Sight Part): To help survive GBB recoil, the mounting tab features an internal axial screw reinforcement to prevent layer separation.

- Ergonomics & Accessibility: Clean top profile without extra rails for a simple look. The bottom section of the buffer body has a cutout that leaves the AAP01's Semi/Auto selector lever open and easy to toggle.

- Integrated QD Sling Swivel Support: Optional QD mount can be added if you want to attach a sling. It positions the sling attachment point to help balance the weight of the replica when carried.

Print Settings (TL;DR) ⚠️ CRITICAL: READ BEFORE SLICING ⚠️

- Use 3MF Profile: Every part has individual custom settings for functionality, durability and print quality. Some models feature custom-designed supports modeled directly in Fusion 360 for perfect print results. Do not modify settings to cut print times.

- ⚠️ Raw STLs Warning: Raw STLs will lose all custom configurations/orientations automatically, leading to print errors and part failure. Use the 3MF!

- NO PLA: 100% excluded. PLA is for household decorative stuff.

- Filament: PETG Matte (Best Budget) or ASA/ABS/PA-CF.

- CoreXY vs Bedslinger: Optimized for CoreXY. If using a Bedslinger (Bambu Lab A Series), tall parts can wobble or detach from the bed. If not already in the profile, manually add supports/brims to stabilize tall prints.

Hardware Required (BOM)

1. Rear Sight Part

- 2x M3x5mm Countersunk Screws (Use original factory screws from the pistol's rear sight - front holes).

- 1x M2x8mm Socket Head Screw (Screwed axially inside the BBU tab for anti-delamination reinforcement).

- 1x M3x5mm Countersunk Screw (Rear hole, used to clamp the Rear Sight part down into the Buffer Body).

2. Buffer Body

- 1x M3x30mm Socket Head Screw (Main lower screw used to secure the body to the pistol grip).

- 1x M3x4mm Heat-Set Insert (Placed on the opposite side of the main grip screw).

- 1x M3x4mm Heat-Set Insert (Placed at the top-rear hole to secure the Rear Sight Part connection).

- Optional QD Mount: 1x Standard Metal QD Sling Socket (12mm diameter / 15-16mm length) + 1x M4x18mm Countersunk Screw (Usually included with the QD sling mount package).

3. Main Hinge

- 2x M4x18mm Countersunk Screws (Used as independent top and bottom pivot pins. They thread directly into the hinge; tightening them adjusts how stiff or loose the folding action feels).
