🛠 Printing Instructions & Recommendations
Print Orientation:
Print the faceplate face-down* on a textured PEI sheet for a clean, professional finish.
Print the box/backing* upright.
Nozzle: 0.4 mm (recommended for sharp emblem details)
Layer Height: 0.20 mm (0.16 mm or adaptive layers for the faceplate details)
Walls / Perimeters: 2 to 3
Infill: 15% – 20% (Gyroid or Grid)
Filament Recommendations:
Face Details / Diffuser: White PETG or PLA for optimal light diffusion.
Accents / Border: Gold / Yellow / Red / Black PLA or PETG.
Light Box Body: Black PLA/PETG or dark opaque filament to prevent light bleed (you can also line the interior with aluminum foil or reflective tape to maximize light output).
