Sobre este modelo
A display stand in a classic arched design for cosplay swords, knives and other blade props. The blade stands edge-down in two forks. The stand consists of 3 parts: the arch and two feet that push onto the fork heads from below. This way every part prints in its best orientation:
- Arch: lying on its side → only minimal support inside the wedge slot
- Feet: lying flat → no support (both feet are included in one STL, already laid out flat)
The joint engages 15 mm deep and locks in both directions. Clearance: 0.2 mm per side. If it’s too tight, sand it lightly; if it’s too loose, add a drop of super glue. The slot is wedge-shaped and follows the blade’s cross-section, so the blade stands straight:
- At the edge: 3 mm
- 2 mm above: 6 mm
- 20 mm above: 17 mm
(Includes 0.5 mm clearance per side – designed for a fabric-wrapped blade measuring 2 / 5 / 16 mm.) Thinner blades will fit as well, they just sit a bit deeper. For thicker blades the slot needs to be widened. Assembled dimensions: 216 × 110 × 85 mm, 200 mm between the forks. All three parts fit together on a single 250 × 250 mm print bed.
