Sobre este modelo
A clip that slides over the top edge of the glass and holds a 6 or 8 mm stick thermometer upright, with a slot down the front to read it.
The thermometer drops into an upright channel from the top and rests on a narrower seat at the bottom, 40 mm below the top of the glass. A slot down the front lets you read the scale. Nothing squeezes the thermometer. Prints upside down with no supports.
What it fits
- Stick thermometers 6 mm or 8 mm across (seat 4.0 or 6.0 mm: the lower end must be wider than the seat).
- Rimless glass 4, 6, 8 or 10 mm thick.
What you need
- PETG filament.
- A stick thermometer (glass or the probe of a digital one).
Files
- thermometer-holder_glass{4|6|8|10}mm_thermometer{6|8}mm.stl — eight files: pick your glass and thermometer
Fitting
- Slide the holder over the glass edge.
- Drop the thermometer in from the top until it rests on the seat.
Limits
- Drawn for a bare, square-edged glass.
- Nothing about the reading itself is checked.
How it was checked
Checked by simulation, not printed by us yet: the geometry is checked for fit (clearances), wall thickness against a 0.4 mm nozzle, bed size and overhangs. Loads are not simulated. If it does not fit, a comment with your measurements helps.
Safety
- Use PETG for parts that sit in the water.
