Sobre este modelo
Two clips that hang on opposite glasses and two base feet, all in one print, to line up your own acrylic or polycarbonate divider sheet.
If you already have a divider sheet, these line it up. The clips hang on the top edge of two opposite glasses, each with a 12 mm deep channel for the sheet's edge; the feet take the bottom corners. Cut the sheet 8–14 mm narrower than the inside width of the tank and about 15 mm below the top of the glass. The clips sit on the glass by their own weight and do not lock the sheet: a push of a few grams moves them.
What it fits
- Rimless glass 4, 6 or 8 mm thick.
- Divider sheet 2, 3 or 4 mm thick: acrylic, polycarbonate, PETG or solid rigid PVC (solid or perforated).
- Clips stop above the water: for a water level about 30 mm below the top of the glass.
What you need
- PETG filament.
- Your divider sheet, cut to size.
Files
- divider-clips-and-feet_glass{4|6|8}mm_sheet{2|3|4}mm.stl — nine files: pick your glass and your sheet
Fitting
- Slide each clip over its glass; it should go on with a light push.
- Stand the feet on the substrate and lower the sheet into the channels.
Limits
- Not for sheets that float or barely sink (polypropylene, polyethylene, polystyrene, foam board).
- Not for a current pushing across the sheet: the clips are not clamped.
- Fish that jump can still get over the top.
How it was checked
Checked by simulation, not printed by us yet: the geometry is checked for fit (clearances), wall thickness against a 0.4 mm nozzle, bed size and overhangs. Loads are not simulated. If it does not fit, a comment with your measurements helps.
Safety
- Use PETG for parts that sit in the water.
