Sobre este modelo
Most XT30 housings on Printables are designed for bulky RC/drone battery leads, typically using 14–16 AWG silicone wire for relatively high-current RC/drone applications. I needed a connector housing for a much thinner cable — an aquarium lighting cable with an outer diameter of Ø3.4 mm. I couldn’t find one, so I designed my own. Hardware Requirements - 1× M2×8 mm pan-head or round-head screw (a button-head screw also works)
- 1× M2 standard nut
Recommended Print Settings - Nozzle: 0.4 mm
- Layer height: 0.20 mm (or 0.15 mm for slightly finer detail)
- Supports: None required; print both halves flat on the bed
- Infill: 100%, or use 4+ perimeters
Material Selection Choose the filament according to the expected operating conditions: - PETG / ABS / ASA: Recommended for applications that may run warm, such as enclosed aquarium hoods, continuously operated lighting systems, or installations near power supplies.
- PLA: Suitable for low-temperature applications where no significant local heat buildup is expected.
