Print a 6 ft AIM-120C AMRAAM missile model that hangs from your ceiling. This 1829 mm 3D printable missile kit is designed for everyday FDM printers like Bambu Lab, Prusa, Creality and Elegoo. Every part fits a 256 x 256 mm bed, prints with NO supports and connects with fully printed couplers, so there are no screws, magnets or metal hardware.
Perfect as a man cave, game room, garage, workshop or military aviation display piece, or as a gift for fighter jet, Air Force and Navy fans.
FEATURES - 6 ft or 1829 mm AIM-120C AMRAAM display model - 30 print ready STL files - 2 piece nose cone, 9 body tubes, 9 identical couplers, 4 wings, 4 tail fins, 2 optional display stand saddles - 100 percent support free with 45 degree internal chamfers and no flat overhangs - Lightweight hollow design with 1.6 mm walls, filament saving and safe to hang - Keyed printed couplers that line up every section - Built in ceiling hanging lugs for wire or fishing line - Slot in wing and fin tabs - Manifold, watertight, tested STLs
RECOMMENDED PLA PRINT SETTINGS - Layer height 0.20 to 0.24 mm - Walls 4, top layers 4, bottom layers 3 - Infill 5 to 10 percent, gyroid or adaptive cubic - Supports none - Nozzle 205 to 215 C, bed 55 to 60 C - 5 mm brim on the nose tip and the tall tubes - Print as exported. Tubes, couplers and nose upright. Wings and fins flat.
WHAT TO PRINT - Files 01 to 11 - print 1 each, nose and body tubes - File 12 - coupler, print 9 - Files 21 to 28 - print 1 each, wings and fins - Files 29 and 30 - optional display stand
PAINTING TIP Light gray body, off white radome tip, a yellow band for the warhead and a brown band for the rocket motor give it an authentic flight line look. Full settings and assembly steps are in the included READ ME.
