Sobre este modelo
Designed after my daughter asked for a better way to store breast milk bags in the freezer.
The sliding compression plate keeps bags upright and helps them freeze flatter as the stack grows. A simple locking lever engages the ridged floor, while side rails keep the plate aligned as it moves.
Two sizes are included: • Standard – designed to fit printers in the ~220 mm bed class • Large – approximately 305 mm long for larger-format printers
The included 3MF is set up with a Creality K2 Plus profile so both sizes can be included in a single 3MF project. If your printer cannot fit the Large version, use the Standard version rather than scaling the complete assembly. Scaling will also change the functional clearances for the rails, hinge pin, receiver, and locking lever.
The receiver attaches to the compression plate with a couple small drops of CA glue. The hinge pin and locking lever then assemble without additional hardware.
Designed from scratch in Blender, test printed, revised more times than something this simple had any right to require, and tested with actual frozen milk bags.
Print Settings Matter: This model was designed and tested with 3 perimeter walls and 15% gyroid infill. The additional wall thickness is intentional for freezer use and adds strength around the 5 mm hinge/pin connection. Reducing the wall count or significantly changing the infill may affect strength, stiffness, and how the part responds to thermal expansion and contraction, including visible deformation at the floor-to-wall transition. Several features were also shaped specifically around the supplied FDM print orientation to minimize supports while maintaining functional clearances and strength.
If you somehow fill the Large version and still need more room, congratulations. Daddy gets the 3 AM shift.
