I felt the need to resolve the issue of Bambulab not providing the good old premium allen keys. This model is my take on the premium allen key handles, I hope you will like it:)

A revised hotend tray pack, this time with places for the hotend socks. If you like the idea give it a try on the link below:)

I've uploaded the same box ( with the tray holder lid ), but with empty bottom part. More storage, same outlook:)

A1 TOOLBOX / Print-in-place The OG toolbox for the Bambulab A1 — and still the fan favorite! 🧰🔥 This is the classic design that started it all, keeping A1 setups clean, organized, and looking sharp. If you haven’t added it to your workflow yet… what are you waiting for? 😄
This design is based on my earlier print-in-place box. This box is made to replace the cardboard box that the printer accessories originally comes in. It has a very similar layout to the original one, but at some points has some minor modifications to it. (like the inner enclosures to store spare bolts, or the hotend plate). In the 3MF file I used marble PLA, and matte PLA, but the design has been tested with Bambulab PETG, and PETG-CF as well.
Update: 1.) Based on the many feedback I might made a mistake in the cover photo. Purely based on the pic you can assume that the hotend tray goes to the top half of the case, but I only did it that way becasue it looked satisfying on the photo. It is designed to be placed upon the bottom half of the box ( paralell with the bottom half, facing in the same direction). I am saying this because if you use it the other way, upon opening the lid, the hotends fall out. ( also you tend to think the design is worthless, gets sad, even depressed, write a bad review and print a different model. And I do not want that:D)
2.) Uploaded separate print profiles with optimized tolerances to increase the success rate of printing the hinge.
3.) Updated the geometry so that it fit my custom Allen Keys better.
THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND
- When closing the latch, it reaches is designated ‘closed’ state by deforming. If you choose to print it from a more rigid material you might need to file it to reach perfect closing. If you print it from a more flexible material like PETG, your print should work without any filing. If you find closing difficult, file the surface shown below.
- There are multiple overhangs where support used, but sometimes they are hard to spot. Pay attention to these places, because missing to remove support can cause headaches.
- The small parts on the photo above you can see small latches for the container covers. You can insert them by slightly bending the container covers ( gently:D)
If you are printing the models on non-Bambulab printers please bare in mind the following:
- Use support at the bottom part of the lock, at the inner cavity of the small enclosures lock and at the logo seating
- Prevent using any support on the hinges and on the hinge of the lock.
- Increase infill at the hinge section and its close proximity.
