Sobre este modelo
Two plates. Film sandwiched between them, taped round the outside edge, and the whole thing is an interference fit over the barrel. No screws, no glue.
Sized on a Tokina AT-X 100-300mm f/4. Check your own barrel with calipers first. a 77mm filter thread 80mm outside. Print a 10mm slice of the skirt to test the fit before the full part.
Lay the film in slack. Stretched AstroSolar is measurably worse than slack AstroSolar; wrinkles are fine. Tape only round the outer edge, NOT across the aperture. Clear aperture is 80mm, which clears the 75mm entrance pupil of a 300mm f/4.
PETG or ASA, not PLA. this sits in direct sun for hours and PLA will creep. Minimum 4 perimeters, or the wall glows light around the film.
Safety: certified ND5 solar film only, never photographic ND. Check for pinholes against a bare bulb before every session. Tether it. Camera use only direct viewing needs ISO 12312-2 eyewear.
