Sobre este modelo
Drops into the cupholder and holds a 52 mm gauge tilted 45° toward the driver. No drilling, fits Ø 70–85 mm cupholders. The pod drops into the cupholder and holds a 52 mm gauge, tilted 45° toward the driver. Nothing on the car is drilled or modified. - Six crush ribs absorb cupholder tolerances. - A pedestal supports the cup across its full width and keeps heavy gauges steady. - The cable exits at the back above the cupholder rim. - An M3 set screw secures the gauge. - The insert is hollow with a self-supporting cone roof: less filament, no supports.
Pick the variant that matches your cupholder's inner diameter (70, 75, 80 or 85 mm). The bore is 52.79 mm, slightly larger than the nominal 52.39 mm; a tolerance test ring is included. Variants (all included) - Cupholder Ø 70 mm · 52 mm gauge - Cupholder Ø 75 mm · 52 mm gauge - Cupholder Ø 80 mm · 52 mm gauge - Cupholder Ø 85 mm · 52 mm gauge - Cupholder Ø 70 mm · 60 mm gauge - Cupholder Ø 75 mm · 60 mm gauge - Cupholder Ø 80 mm · 60 mm gauge - Cupholder Ø 85 mm · 60 mm gauge
Gauge bore: 52.79 mm (52 mm gauges, +0.4 mm clearance). Included - STL, 3MF and STEP for every variant - 52 mm tolerance test ring – print it first (also as a free fit test set in my profile) - README with print settings and installation (EN/DE)
Safety Use in the cupholder only. The gauge must not cover controls or reach into an airbag zone. Hardware (not included) - 1 × M3 set screw or self-tapping M3 screw, 8–10 mm
Fit Crush ribs absorb ±0.5 mm; bore +0.4 mm, verify with the test ring. FAQ Does a 60 mm gauge fit? Yes, in the “60 mm” variants: 60.4 mm bore for gauges with a 60 mm housing (e.g. Defi 60); the front ring rests on the cup rim. Gauges with a 52 mm housing take the 52 mm variant. How it's made Parametric CAD (build123d, Python), exact solids. The CAD code was written with an AI assistant and checked by us; no AI-generated meshes. Renders are made from the CAD in Blender. Deutsch: Steckt im Becherhalter und hält ein 52-mm-Instrument 45° zum Fahrer geneigt. Ohne Bohren, für Becherhalter Ø 70–85 mm. Print settings - Material: PETG (or ASA, ABS). No PLA – it softens in a hot car. - Layer height 0.2 mm, 4 walls, 20 % infill, no supports. - Orientation: Insert down on the bed, cup pointing up. - Print time approx. 6 h 27 min, about 88 g (default variant). - Print the 52 mm tolerance test ring first to check the gauge fit on your printer.
Installation - Slide the gauge in from the front until the bezel rests on the rim; route the cable out the back. - Tighten the M3 set screw hand-tight. - Press the pod into the cupholder and turn it toward the driver.
