Some of my shop equipment is equipped with 4" metal fittings for dust collection. I mostly use temporary slip fit connections for my 4" dust collection hose. The machines with the 4" ducts wouldn't fit the temporary slip fit connectors so I made this. It slides onto my machines with a little bit of clearance and can be held in place with a single small screw. The slip fit connector that I have permanently attached to my hose then slides on and off easily but has enough surface area and friction to stay in place during use.
