Sobre este modelo

While building my home lab, I found a new-old-stock switch that was too good a deal to pass up. Problem was that this is a standard 19" rackmount switch and that's not NORMALLY something that you can shoehorn in on a shelf without using the ENTIRE shelf to hold a switch. I decided to stand it on its side behind my home lab shelf, which worked great for space, but the darned thing was kinda tippy. Every time I moved the shelf to get to the network connections to do anything it tried to fall over. So - here we are. The 1U freestanding floor stand. Note - While this works well for me - if you decide to use it, verify fit, stability, ventilation, and equipment weight before use. Ventilation was something I was particulary concerned with, but my switch airflow worked well so long as I stand it on its right side, not the left. ANYWAY - I used PETG for this with 50% infill for strength. Safety Disclaimer: This 3D-printed stand is provided “as is” and is used at your own risk. Verify the fit, stability, and load-bearing capacity of the printed part before use. Actual strength depends on filament type, print settings, orientation, and printer calibration. Inspect the stand regularly for cracks, deformation, or other signs of wear, and discontinue use if damage is found. Ensure the stand does not obstruct ventilation, cooling, connectors, or other equipment features. Secure equipment against tipping or sliding, and do not use this stand to support equipment above people, in locations where a fall could cause injury, or where equipment failure could create a hazard. Hope this helps someone someday!
