10 mm Mid Thread, Flat Head, Small Thread Hole, Shank Folded-Bolt

“Folded Bolts” are the strongest type of 3D printed bolt because of their print orientation, and they have better grip strength than a T-Bolt (https://link.Multiboard.io/t-bolts).

This bolt has a “mid thread” that can screw into any push-fit hole (like into Snaps).

The 10mm thread length is perfect for attaching standard 3mm accessories to a snap when your Multibord is mounted “on a surface”. It’s also used to secure Mounting Wall Support Snaps into place.

The bolt also has a 3mm shank allowing you to fasten threaded accessories without the bolt causing any unintended shifting or rotation of the accessory.

It has a “flat” head to facilitate clearance in case the bolt head is in the way (like a corner in a shelf bracket).

Printing Guidelines:

The printing orientation is as provided in the file. The print has been designed to be “3 wall perimeters” in wall thickness. Printed at a layout height of 0.2 mm. It doesn't need printing supports. Use the default 15% infill. This part has been designed with a tolerance of 0.25 mm. Your printer will need to be able to bridge gaps of up to 30 mm for some designs.
